Autonomous Habitat Experience as a service or how to avoid the waiting list.

Those who are following the fascinating events in the EV industry and the disruption eventually will happen in that market , already know the quandary some companies like Tesla ($TSLA) are facing, regarding their highly demanded products and the subsequent waiting list they are forced to generate for their customers.
But perhaps, there are some ways to get a service, just immediately upon the investment is done instead of put the customer in the waiting list right away. Sure, the customers still will have to wait for the EV itself , but will be able to get the service in real time.
There is an example: the EV will be part of the service but is not gonna be the whole service, therefore once the EV is delivered, it will be considered as an extension of the service already provided.
So what is the real service TESLA could offer?
Well, they could offer the Autonomous Habitat experience, which includes of course an EV, but is not limited to it. 
The Autonomous Habitat is going to be first of all, a top notch piece of software, that will manage all the habitat resources and most likely is going to be the same software the EV use.
Well, eventually you will be able to get the TESLA software first, even quite BEFORE you get the EV itself , and use it and take advantage of it. In fact, you can eventually use the TESLA system in your current NON EV and their new habitat and also use the superchargers service in advance , even before you get your EV unit.
How to do it? Well, the Autonomous Habitat Package Service  (AHPS) we are suggesting for $TSLA, includes a supercharger's time usage immediately , therefore, since the customer doesn't has the EV yet (the main EV unit most precisely ) , the customer will be able either way to storage the E getting from the superchargers in the mobile Powerwall (specifically adapted for the current vehicle) or get the equivalent KW charged in the Tesla Card (TC) and here is perhaps the more exciting part of the AHPS, eventually the customer will be able to purchase goods, even oil fuel with the Tesla Card (TC).
To summarize the Autonomous Habitat Package Service (AHPS) concept in a strategic way, what we are suggesting for $TSLA is to assume a similar approach they are assuming for the autonomous EV, doing a semi-autonomous transition before go to the full autonomous EV, therefore the AHPS will be provide a semi-EV service that in the mid term will be converted in a full EV service and a full AHPS experience.
So, the AHPS will provide immediately the following stuff: Solar panels, Powerwall, $TSLA bike ( or any segment way EV), a mobile Powerwall for the NON EV, the $TSLA EV software ( storage in the EV screen pad) and also immediate access to the supercharger stations. 
Basically, $TSLA will be able to provide to their customers their EV brain (aka AHPS brain) with some accessories immediately, therefore the waiting list will become a service on demand.

'E 'is for entertainment and  'e' is for explorer .....


Before launching a self-driving car, perhaps there is one more step to develop, where chances are there will be plenty of fun.


Driving your vehicle in the front seat,is going to be part of the past. Yes, you hear well!, you will be able to drive your vehicle ( a.k.a  entertainment explorer USV unit) from whatever seat; most likely from a super comfortable rear seat , using a smart super screen.

Well, there is a good reason to do it, since there is no needing for a frontal windshield anymore (should I say translucent windshield, most precisely ) , since the whole front of your vehicle will be like a kind of super shield-dome, with all the top notch electronics required to provide you with an excelent vision to drive, quite better than the human vision.


Hence, the front part of your Ee-USV will provide all the required vision and navigation info, as well as a better passive safety system. Sure, the safety of your Ee-SUV is gonna be increased by a factor of 10, due that it would be possible to avoid the windshield and the fact that you are gonna be driving in the rear seat!

Basically, you will have a quite comfortable mobile entertainment room,as comfortable as your living room,with the additional advantage that could be a full work station during the bumper to bumper traffic period.

The human kind has been able to send sophisticated explorers to others worlds, those are being able to survive in hostile and remote environments , sending back valuable data to our host planet; well,we are going to use a fraction of that high technology in order to develop our explorer entertainment SUV, that will provide you with high quality time during commuting.


The frontal shield-dome will have several cameras: the navigation camera for instance, will provide to the driver's screen a far superior quality view of the road ahead that the conventional windshield, because the electronic sensors will deliver precise data about location and distance of the other vehicles in real time. Ee will carrie two stereo pairs of navigation cameras, one pair each connected to the Ee's two redundant computers; on the other hand, the frontal hazard camera will provide valuable data to the dual central processor about the road ahead at bumper level in order to send in real time any potential alert. Finally, the Flir thermo-vision system will deliver a high quality navigation during the night.

So, your Ee-SUV will be more close related to a mobile living room/work station than a regular vehicle it self. Try to imagine that you are comfortable siting in the rear seat ( kind of an airplane first class seat, that could be fully extended to a bed when required) using a smart screen and a joystick ( kind of jet fighter type or cat excavator type ) and suddenly you get stuck in a heavy traffic, then the central processor calculate the time you will be stuck , therefore you decide to put aside the control screen and prepare a dinner in a very comfortable environment , perhaps take a nap in a full extended position, listening the 'to do list' for your next day and getting the updates from your onboard computer regarding the traffic status, in order to be prepare in advance to commence again your journey.

In other words, 'E' (E for entertainment) will provide you with a unique environment for a smooth commuting and 'e' (e for exploring) will provide you with all the necessary resources to give you the required peace of mind to deal with a potential difficult bumper to bumper heavy traffic day , as if you were stuck in other planet, perhaps MARS, but even so, you have your smart and powerful ally: Ee .

By the way, the Ee (Rover One) will be powered by two electric engines and the space wich is usually reserved for the fuel tank will be occupied by a wáter tank, yes a wáter tank, because one of the coolest Rover1 features is the robotic hose, to get wáter (filtered wáter) in any given time.
Therefore your Rover One (of course, here inspired by Tesla,Tesla Motors,Elon,Mars Curiosity, Apollo lunar rover and Nasa) will be able not only to spend electricity and wáter, but also to generate power or provide fresh wáter to your home in any given time.

Coding.

Humans are creatures that constantly are generating code. When talking, loving, hating, laughing, writing,singing... humans are constantly modifying the cultural DNA of individuals, organizations, companies, families and nations.
The daily interaction and communication among people, generates a symphony (pure code) that allows create new behaviors , modify behaviors, inspire new ventures , build (write) the daily history of families,nations and human kind...
We are coding ourselves in many ways...
But perhaps the most sublime way to code, is when interacting with our kids, teaching and loving them.

Fue una afortunada coincidencia. Tuvieron la gran suerte de contar con una pista de aterrizaje en su campus, justo en el momento adecuado.
Aprovecharon la oportunidad y crearon un centro de investigación de primer nivel, desarrollaron vehículos autónomos terrestres y aéreos, y lograron producir uno de los primeros motores eléctricos para aviones de mediano alcance, justo en el momento en que los mercados se preparaban para una era en donde las turbinas y motores de  combustión cedían parte de su participación. Cierto es, que el campus aéreo estaba ubicado a Dos mil metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar, pero los nuevos motores eléctricos desarrollados en el campus(como todos los motores eléctricos !)no perdían potencia con la altura, como sus pares de combustión.
También es cierto, que debido a que el campus aéreo estaba ubicado en la mitad de los imponentes andes colombianos, tenían temporadas de condiciones metereológicas adversas, pero esa aparente desventaja la transformaron en su mayor ventaja, ya que desarrollaron instrumentos de navegación de primer nivel, que competían satisfactoriamente en el mercado internacional.
También tuvieron la fortuna de participar en el desarrollo y auge de la tecnología del tipo VTOL, que hizo innecesario el uso de pistas de aterrizaje extremadamente largas. 

No parecía aparentemente, tener un gran potencial el hangar 00 enclavado en el macizo andino, pero resultó ser una gema de gran funcionalidad, que pulida por las manos adecuadas, hizo brillar la region.

Yabba Dabba Doo!


(This blog pretends to relate my experience about coding in Java, after being completed 300 hours of learning/coding in that program language.)

Yabba Dabba Doo!

Three hundred hours later, I was able to develop an App using Java as a programming language. SolumGraf V2.0 is an App (first version available in Spanish ) to draw a soil column and calculate some standard soil test performed at the laboratory.
But this blog is not about the App itself,but about my first experience coding in Java.

I will never forget that year,1982. Was a soccer fever year, with the World Cup going on in Spain and of course, how to forget the great amount of sadness I felt as a kid, after the defeat of that great Brazilian soccer team commanded by Zico. In addition, in 1982 I got my coding very first experience, using BASIC, even so, my first code line ever written was : 10 REM * *Draw and Color test**. ( therefore, should I say, that was my first experience with the English language as well,since all the programming languages are based on it.)
Back in that time, a friend of mine, a brilliant kid that lived in the same block as mine,got his first personal computer, a Synclair machine, so we expend a great amount of time coding in BASIC , building up great stuff with LEGO and playing chess.... and watching the World Cup of course.

Later on, during the high school,I had a great time coding in BASIC using a CASIO PBX-770 beautiful machine that my daddy gave me as a birthday present; then during the university epoch, studying civil engineering I learned Pascal as a part of the academic program.
 But even so I decided to code my first program in Visual Basic, back in the early 90's : FlexiPav, a program to design flexible pavements; in those days in Colombia, there were available just two programs to design flexible pavements: Alice a French program and Depav an interface developed by "Los Andes University" running an internal algorithm of an American software, therefore I decided to go straight to the point and create an algorithm in order to solve the matrix of flexibility in a flexible pavement mechanism from scratch , so FlexiPav provided the required algorithm to solve the matrix of flexibility/stiffness for a flexible pavement, as well as a friendly interface for the engineers to interact with ( smooth and nice I/O GUI in today's terms ).
So, coding in Java have been a great experience, the object oriented language is extremely efficient and the modern editors make easier to accomplish any task. I experienced Eclipse and Netbeans editors, both of them extremely friendly and easy to use.
The great quantity of resources ("build in" methods or "build in" subroutines, in the old fashion way terminology) available in Java today is quite amazing and allows the user to save plenty of coding time and focus in the essential.  
Additionally, This was my first experience with an object oriented language, which is the logic structured behind Java. 
Bottom line,I would like to summarize the experience developing my first App in Java with that famous expression constantly mentioned in the Flintstones :  
Yabba Dabba Doo!

The Alchemist- wearable.


The Alchemist- wearable.

 

It supposed to be a business dinner, but he decided to include a romantic element to the agenda.

The dinner were fabulous and the sunset marvelous; finally they were performed the toast and suddenly they smelled that wonderful herbal fragrance, that immediately reminded her about their funny and good times learning to dance during the high school.

What she never knew in that appointment, is that her future husband were wearing the alchemist, a last generation wearable capable to release any kind of special aroma at the right time.

Off course, the alchemist was used for different situations other than the romantic affairs, for instance for pet lovers the alchemist was very popular, since the different aromas released by it, helped to improve the communication with their mascots, especially with dogs which are equipped with a powerful olfactory system that allowed them to understand better and faster some of the commands given by their human’s friends.

Omnium Optimus para el Sistema de transporte de Bogotá.

Lo perfecto es enemigo de lo bueno. Una solución buena para el sistema de transporte de Bogotá es una solución pronta. Por lo tanto, pretendo aquí sugerir una solución pronta y buena para un sector específico de la ciudad de Bogotá.

La propuesta es utilizar el canal de agua ( al parecer propiedad del IDU?) que se encuentra localizado en forma paralela a la autopista NQS, como un medio de comunicación efectivo para aumentar la capacidad de transporte de la NQS.

La ventaja inmediata de utilizar el canal de agua de la NQS, es que permite ahorrar un tiempo considerable en la etapa administrativa de compra de propiedades raíz, ya que el canal es un bien de la ciudad. Esta gran ventaja, permite concentrarse y focalizarse  exclusivamente en el aspecto de diseño e ingeniería, incluso comenzar una fase de ejecución muy rápida, mediante la construcción de una línea de prueba.

En cuanto al aspecto topológico del asunto, es necesario recordar que las ciudades se desarrollan siguiendo sus recursos hídricos, por lo tanto es posible concluir que el trazado del canal tiene la eficiencia requerida para la solución de transporte que se establezca en su curso.

La otra gran ventaja, es que el canal de agua permite una gran flexibilidad de diseño y construcción, ya que es posible utilizar cualquier medio de transporte en ese trazado, desde una línea férrea, hasta un sistema dual de autopista y metro.

Lo más importante, es que el canal se puede comenzar a intervenir de forma inmediata, sin depender de terceros o de procesos administrativos complejos y demorados.

Intellectual Property Trading Platform


The bottom line is that trading is based in trust, regardless the legal tender or commodity being use to back it.  Basically, the modern trading is being performed by securities, bonds, commodities and currency trough the different electronic platforms regulated by central banks.

I am suggesting here, the creation of a brand new trading platform, based in the intellectual property rights (IPR), allowing the trade of patents, pending patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial design and concepts.


The new Intellectual Property (IP) Trading Platform, will allow to enhance the trading marketplace spectrum, using the abstraction tools that supports the human civilization: ideas.

The IP Trading Platform, will trade the patents in similar way that the stock exchange platform, a potential buyer bids a specific price for a patent, and a potential seller asks a specific price for the same patent. Buying or selling at market means you will accept any ask price or bid price for the patent, respectively. When the bid and ask prices match, a sale takes place, on a first-come-first-served basis if there are multiple bidders or askers at a given price.

Certainly, the purpose of this brand new platform, is try to join the diffusion of innovation to the financial market in order to assign a real value to the human capital and the intellectual property capital in their phase of abstraction.

The novelty, is what happens when the patent ( here you should read, patent or copyright or trademark or pending patent or concept) finally  becomes formally part of a stock, and therefore the patent holders (legal tenders) can either make a stock exchange or receive a bonus track for being the main supporters of the patent.


Most of the time, the innovation must be widely adopted in order to self-sustain. Within the rate of adoption, there is a point at which an innovation reaches critical mass. The categories of adopters are: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, and laggards. Diffusion manifests itself in different ways in various cultures and fields and is highly subject to the type of adopters and innovation-decision process, but with the creation of the suggested IP trading platform, could be possible to assign a value to the abstraction of the idea or the innovation itself and therefore could be traded as well, even if not reach the critical mass.
