Perhaps, the space flights should start in the same way that ends: in a free fall.

The astronaut’s journey commenced in the highlands; the fabulous spatial complex was located at four thousand meters above the sea level.



Perhaps, could sounds strange for a XXI century human reader that the space port facilities were located at very high altitude, up there in the mountains, and in addition not enough with the mountain altitude itself, there was a 2K height tower above the mountain.



Although most impressive even, was the lack of rockets in the space port. Well, the reason behind it, was that the astronauts were not expecting take off from the space port, but just jump from it.

The astronaut commander commenced to check out the spaceship system altogether with the AI assistant for the travel.

The very first meters of the travel, were more similar to a maglev train travel than a spaceship travel, since the spaceship were positioned in the proper place inside the tower, ready for the free fall stage.


Once the spaceship reached the initial velocity of 200 Kph, approached the free fall zone and just jumped inside the tower space duct to experience a vacuum free fall.

One hundred eighty seconds later, the spaceship left the 2k tower duct and accessed to the vertical mountain tunnel, where the high pressure's shield and high temperature's shield were activated.


Six hundred seconds later, the spaceship approached the transition zone at 90% of the earth's scape velocity in a free fall and turned on the engines.

Thirteen minutes later, the spaceship left the transition zone and therefore the mountain vertical tunnel at 95% of the earth's scape velocity and flew horizontally for a couple of seconds above the Atlantic Ocean before perform the fast ascension to the thermosphere.

Sixty eight minutes later, the spaceship crew commenced to experiment a free fall again, but this time around the earth. Very soon they were hooked up to the International Space Station hovering at Four Hundred Kilometers above the sea level.

Basically, they used 6km a free fall system placed in the earth’s surface in order to reach the 100Km altitude and start to falling again, this time around the planet, and then was just a matter to use properly the spaceship's powerful and super-efficient engines to reach the ISS.
